Funding for communities near Heathrow

Trustees and panel members live and work locally and are supported by the Trust Director and a team at Groundwork South, who draw on their local knowledge and experience to help you submit a strong bid showing the full value of your work. To inform our funding priorities we carry out an annual survey of community groups in the region.

Inspiring Youth event, November 2014

We have three routes to funding for external applicants:

  • Grants for Projects Young People: projects to raise aspirations, increase resilience or increase employability in children and young people up to age 25
  • Environment and Sustainability Grants: for projects focussed on the environment and sustainability
  • Communities Together: our small grants programme supports projects that will bring communities together or reach isolated members of the community

If you are an employee of Heathrow Airport Ltd we also support two funding streams that you can apply to on behalf of your chosen charity or community organization – please see our funding pages for details.
